RE: [CHICKENS-101] Modern game bantams

Gina,

Feel free to put them in a nice, secure shipping box and send them my way!  They are adorable!  My first thought was “Ike and Tina” LOL!

My understanding is they are pretty friendly with people…….not aggressive, but roosters vs roosters are very aggressive?  I would love to have some but I don’t want my chicken yard sounding and looking like a fighting pit.  As much as I love the idea of a house chicken, it just won’t fly. (pun)  Between the Scotty mix and the Great Dane, we can’t have  a chicken walking around the house.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Modern game bantams

Hi all,
My little moderns are one week old today. They are the most different chicks I have ever had. They are very friendly and want company all the time and if you leave the room they yell so loud you can hear them outside!! The are so leggy that I just have to laugh at them every day. How sweet and cute they are. I have my fingers crossed that Slick is a male and Kiwi a female. They are also exceptionally active and don't sleep much like other chicks do.
Gina :-)

Slick at one week

Kiwi at one week.
