there is a yahoo group called "birdclick" if you want to learn how to train a bird in a more organized way and to teach him stuff you may not think you could teach him.
 
The instructor in the video used to train birds for the military, laser guided ravens to take spy pictures through a window, missile guiding pigeons, etc. it's all in their video called "Patient like the chipmunks"
