Cath,I am so sorry to hear this about Blue boy...has he healed yet?or will he ever?I am certain you have done all one can do!!!I was hoping he would pull through.I now check my chickens for it because I had never thought or heard about it before in chickens.Do you have any of his offspring at least?I know it would not be the same as him but...
And Deb,That was something about Annie.I heard about it from a Sheltie lady.The adoptive family only had the dog for a month!I could not keep someone elses dog like that!Knowing the dog was missed so much.I am glad they did the right thing finally and gave her back to Chuck!I think they would have had a really hard time if they did not.People even started a facebook page called Friends of Annie with over 400 members last I saw.
