[CHICKENS-101] Losing Birds Attn. Gina

 

Gina, I'm sorry your parrot got out and (probably) became hawk lunch. Poor thing. For years I didn't let the kids get birds after one disastrous episode with Christmas present parakeet. One of Chris' snakes got lose and got in the poor bird's cage and ate him. The only good part was that then the snake couldn't get back out of the cage because the parakeet that was then inside him prevented him from slithering back through the bars of the cage, so he was easy to catch.

 

Now that there's no snakes (at least inside the house) I can have birds. :)
