[CHICKENS-101] Baby monitors and Coops-Advice please

 

I could not put fencing underground around my chicken yard..tree roots.
Would a baby monitor work? What is the range? Will they work in winter? Has anyone used one with success?
I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep for worrying about skunks digging under the chicken yard. Do raccoons dig too? How about oppossums?
