Well, most chick feed is medicated.  You can check the bag and it will say.  Medicated chick feed bags are marked so people won't eat meat or eggs from any chicken fed that feed.  I'm not sure what the time frame is to work the medicated feed out of their systems.

Georgia ~ no not eating any eggs, 'cause there aren't any at this point :)  Just curious, though, why shouldn't we?  Is there something about that feed that isn't good for eggs? 
 
The reason I wanted to know about what to feed is so they get the proper feed when it's time for them to start laying again.  I did throw them some Layena today as I was short on some of the sunflower & scratch.  Need to purchase more feed & wanted to know if there was something different I needed to get for them.
