Yes, I understood the underlying reason for putting bright coats on dogs that are outside where people hunt. 

But EVERY dog deserves a coat.  Or two or ten.

Georgia, The coats are so my dogs won't get shot.  People hunt deer here in the city, even though they are not supposed too.  I posted the property, but it's ignored unless I catch them.  I take their pic with my cell phone and use it to prove they were trespassing!   Up north, there's spring and fall turkey and fall/winter deer hunting seasons.  Even though my blinds were posted along with my property, the property owners next to me stole my blinds off my land, and cut trails through my woods.  I'll be taking the DNR thru my property and showing them this spring.  I am ticked.  My dogs need coats.
