I went in the barn first thing this morning and could hear .. the little peep peep of baby SOMETHINGS. ... couldn't be chicks reember all my chickens where killed by a stray dog. Well lo an behold... in the feed room a hen had hidden out the carnage setting on a nest of 8 eggs. And they had begun hatching... all but two were hatched. Due to the number of feral cats we have around here, I took the little fluffy babies inside and put them in my brooder. One is even a turken. The hen is a game hen not very friendly ( and now even more so ) So I guess this little NN baby is a Game NN ??? Anyway .. they are fine all eating and warm under the light ??!!!
