Laura, I am a wimp too! I know I could kill an animal if I were starving, but I have a supermarket less than two miles away. Someone else can hunt and kill and dress my meat foods. Now, chopping up home grown veggies - bring it on!
S - I just got two Orpington chicks about two weeks ago, and am already very attached to them. This breed appears to be a lover breed. Good thing for me they're egg hens, not meat hens. I did a lot of my web-chicken-
