[CHICKENS-101] Re: Location, location, location of chicken coop

Hi Martha; You put the chicken coop in the most convenient place for you to take care of it. The chickens don't care and predators will either come or they won't. Pick some place that is pleasing to you, where you can take a chair an sit while enjoying the company of your chickens.

Our first quandry (of which there will be many) is where to put the coop and run. We have an area that is shaded among some trees and thought this would be a great location in the summer, but are unsure how they will fare in the winter. I was also wondering if the trees would give predators access. Would some of you please let me know what the best outdoor environment would be? Thank you and I look forward to learning from your experiences.
