Ok awhile ago my son and his girl came to live with us, she came with her critters, we put her ducks in our chicken coop with our hens then they stopped laying. I asked about it here on the group and it was told that any change would upset them and they could stopped laying. Fast forward a couple of months ago we took the ducks out and they started laying again. Now we have bought the new chicks, we have an area that we could build a brooder house in the chicken-coop, would the peeping of the chicks be enough upset for them to stop laying?
