What is wrong with Brussel sprouts? I love them and my girls have eaten them since they were young, everyone in my family eats them, there are never any left to feed the chickens. As far as cabbage being toxic, I feed coleslaw mix to my chickens in the winter. I buy the bags that are marked down or cheap at the flea market. They love it.
