[CHICKENS-101] The bug lamp

 

The greatest entertainment of the evening is when I turn the light on to keep the chickens warm, the bugs swarm it and the chickens begin a lively game of catch that pest. Has anyone done a study to see if the bug catching cuts down enough on the the chicken feed to cover the cost of electricity for the light? What would happen if I hung a bug zapper over the coop? Would my chickens love me?
