And yes New Zealand has stunning countryside. Right now we are having the
worst drought in decades just in my area (north of North Island), the rest
of the country seems to have had plenty of rain, some places far too much.

Welcome Julie and glad to see you post. I do believe we have more NZ
members and also A few Aussie members as well. Had a friend awhile back that
was from Hamilton NZ ...almost seems like a lifetime ago.
I have seen a few one legged chickens and even a duck ... so they can adapt
and do well if not molested by others. Send us a few pictures when you
can.... from what I have seen of the NZ countryside it is breath taking.
