[CHICKENS-101] Re: Back on line

Hurricane force winds ripped up the landscape Thursday evening so that would make it about 2-1/2 days. Fortunately the temperature stayed above freezing. Had a good time showing the younger crowd how we did it in the old days. Hauling water from the well, lugging wood for the stove, keeping the beer in the snow bank, playing cards by candlelight. Boy, am I glad to have the power back
As for my smell little friend I hope she finds a better place to live.

The devastation was unbelievable. 100 year old trees thrown around like matchsticks. What I don't understand is why there was not more property damage or personal injuries. The chickens thought it was cool. First thing for me is a real cup of coffee then a hot shower. Even the skunk in the barn is avoiding me. Oh yes! the little stinker is back.
