RE: [CHICKENS-101] how do you mark eggs?

 

I think it is true with RAW eggs.  But I scramble them.  I also feed them back their shells.  They love it.

I guess I was smart only getting 9 chickens, with up to 5 foster kids we eat about a dozen eggs a day.

But I have been told MANY times that giving the eggs or even the shells to the hens can cause them to become cannibals.

Is this not true?
