and some old fashioned well pumps, they use leather ...oh heavens I forgot what they are called, but I have them in the freezer. I think they are called leather diaphragms. The family cabin up north has a well that uses them and I bought a stash from an elderly well man many years ago and oiled per his directions and froze part of them in an air tight glass container.
