wry neck - star gazing, same thing as far as I know. The one I still have jerks its head around like it has cerebral palsy or something. I probably should put it down, but I don't have the heart. It eats and drinks just fine, just runs around in circles and bobs and weaves its head.

Thank you Bob .... I didn't think that with "wry neck" they thrashed around .... I guess I was confusing it with stargazing.
I wish I was closer to him to see these babies for myself ... but I'm in NY and he's in NC. I've raised babies many times, must have been very lucky because I've never had any of these things go wrong.
