I'd have a broody in a draft free building with a heat lamp or she may loose enough weight to die and without the heat keeping her chicks alive is going to be a problem. I'm speaking from experience. Broody hormones set in and sometimes they need our intervention.

I have a mutt chicken who is broody. I have left her sitting on the eggs. Tried to leave food in her nest to eat, but she won't.
She is supposed to have a bigger brain being a mutt, but she isn't using it.
