My barn kitten Garfield has figured out how to climb the ladder to the hay loft, go thru the loft to the next loft, then down to middle the tool room and outside. Instead of going back in that way he came out he listens for me and insists that I walk back to the cattle barn and let him back in. Tuesday I ended up backing all the way down the driveway to the barn with him leading the way, looking over his shoulder to make sure I didn't take off on him. (I wasn't walking in the wet in my school dress shoes.) I am going to have to put up a night light in the middle room of the barn so he can go back up in the dark. Thankfully the 2 little kittens are not mimicking him, yet. He is a good sparrow catcher and mouser and the sweetest cat you could ever meet. Plus I am not allergic to him.
