Charlene, The unit is big, and was used for a business. My husband bought it. We'll see if it gets installed or not. I sure hope so.

I think his coop next door is sealed up pretty tight. I would like a roof over our run when it is built. Sand should wick any moisture away in the run. We are less humid than Toledo Ohio (where we lived before). We do get our share of precipitation in way of rain and snow. I am not sure if it is because it is cooler... I suppose we could have a heated fan blowing in a coop some how to keep it dry wouldn't want it to be too dry either. I would like the coop big enough that they would not have to go out when it was really cold but stay sanitary. Is the heating air conditioning unit going in your coop? I would like to see/hear about yours.
