Main prob in uk for predators are foxes & birds of prey, of all the people I have heard of losing birds it has been foxes. I have been told weasels can get to chickens, from some one in the uk who used to be on this forum, (can't remember his name) but never heard any stories of it happening around here, never even heard of anyones chickens being killed by rats.
Worse bugs in UK, wasps, & horse flies. We get gnats, a bit like your mosquitos but not quite as nasty. Don't think we have any killer spiders, & Snakes I think we have the Adda, but don't think it's a killer.
We have had major rain over night & all morning.
Roads flooded accidents all over the place, My freind who I was supposed to be looking after the dogs for today, had to turn back from her trip to Manchester as the roads were not just flooded but had lots of accidents causing tailbacks. I have never been to Isle of whight or Manchester, Manchester is not a nice place to live now, really run down & bad crime area,
You are only 2 years older than my hubby. You could make a holiday here, an old lady at our chapel went to Australia for a couple of months a few years ago:)
Was your mum glad to get back to USA ? Is the weather hard in Northern Michigan? I have a photo of my nan when she was in the land army. Nice talking to you Sharon. Jane & co
