[CHICKENS-101] Re: Chicken "training" question...update

ok... so we let them out this morning and all was fine.. around 10 am 2/3 are inside and 1/3 are huddled and slightly stressed...

we go in the house and about 45 min later I THOUGHT I heard the guineas alarming ... walked out side to see the LARGEST HAWK EVER
(it was as big as my 30lb dog but with wings!) fly over the garage /coop and back out to the corn field.... HE was chirping probably because he realized that there was no free lunch to be had....

there is no evidence he tried to get into the run.. ( its covered in chicken wire)

Maybe THAT is why they keep wanting back inside... I have a feeling we wont be letting them free range any time soon... :(
