is pretty tight and I didnt find any digging spots. But the chainlink
was lifted up and bent in. Remedied now. Added Aviary panels. Ten
gauge Galvanized wire with 1/2 x 3 inch openings. for now I am not
doing a skirt or apron but that's next on the list. The first hit They
took eleven Full sized guineas. Second hit they took about a third my
Little uns. Each time I locked the coop down more and more. Last spot
was a new hole made in the wire behind a water tub. I didnt see it. So
now I am down to eight.
My plan is to build a 24 x 24 poultry house with two walls of wood
construction and two walls of aviary wire construction.... I just scored
96 linear feet of Aviary panels, free from a neighbor taking down four
Aviaries. Stuffs bulletproof and anything that can make it through the
wires is edible..... LOL. I have miles of kennel panels too and the
goats have destroyed a few.... So I am going to strip the chainlink off
those and replace it with the aviary panels. This way I can put the
house together in a modular fashion.
Dont have anyone helping so this is the best I can do. With the
exception of a roof. I need to get someone to build me a roof frame.
