I think she will adapt and be ok. You might need to give her time to heal then add a hen to her area for her to bond with, and put them both in a cage in their coop for a few days. Is she on meds to prevent infection?

Anything is possible. She was in an antique steel cage raised off the ground by 18 inches. She was in with a roo. There is a wire mesh floor and about 6 inches of hay covering the floor. Nothing non human can get into that cage, but if her toes were peeking through the mesh, something could munch them. There are feral cats and foxes in the vicinity. The cage was a temporary measure until she could be moved. She will not be going back to that cage.
So, once she's healed what are the chances that she can integrate in with other hens? She will always have a disability.
