Well, I dug out the camera and charged it. I realized that we were not going to be able to see the teeny serama because self blue stands with her in between his feet. As he stands over her, e looks down on her with a sideways look and with obvious pleasure. I wanted to get her quiet, little, content face in the picture with his sideways smile. I went to move her just a tiny bit forward when everything hit the fan- featehrs flying, growls and squawks, my screaming... Before I knew it the top of my hand was in self blues beak and his feet on the top of my hand. Serama is sitting like the Mona Lisa, sedately concentrating on laying her egg. I'm yelling and trying to get my hand out of the box. Finally, after seemed like several painful minutes, but were actually only a few seconds, self blue realizes he has a beak full of mom's skin and its mom he is raking. With a half squeak and cry he lets go and sits. Self blue honestly looked sorry. I have no pictures, but I do have a nice bruise with a vein sticking up and 2 scratches. 
As many years as I have had poultry you'd have thought I'd been smarter than to mess with silkie cockerel in full hormone love of his life pullet. It would be easier to send a picture of my hand. Cath
