Re: [CHICKENS-101] Duck feed question

I would stick with a duck feed /grower or gamebird feed.  If you feed something where the protein is to high you can end up with angel wing where the wing(s) may stick out ...it can be handled early by taping the wing but if it goes on the duck will remain that way.

Had a feed question about our ducks that we have we are wondering what feed is the best to give to ducks.  I was told by my local feed store that we could just give laying feed.  Is this good enough for them currently we have 5 ducklings in the brooder which for them we are using non medicated chick starter and also a Manna Pro Gamebird/Showbird feed mixed together.  Is it ok to use the laying feed for our older ducks or is there a special duck feed we should be feeding them also is it ok to feed the crumbles or is the pellets the best form.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
