Re: [CHICKENS-101] All purpose feed? does it exist

There is a feed called Flock Raiser that is supposed to be good for all of them. I like it as it has a higher protein level and is supposed to be good for layers too. Angelique

Ok, I know I'm really out of my element b/c I'm begging for help daily! Sigh!

It's the screaming chick thing that really gets me :) Ok, as I said in my last post, I can't keep my birds apart. Why they stay in my yard and torture me? Who knows.

I've got 2 month old turkeys, two month old chicks and 1 year old hens. Is there a feed that could be used for all? Or do I keep herding them to their respective feeding places every morning? Any harm in them eating others feed? All I can think of is the older hens would not get the calcium.

I gotta go get the turkey out of the chicks nighty box, off I fly. Thanks for any feedback.
