I am wondering if some chicks are just naturally hardier than others? Of six Naked Necks, three have died.

None have died in the last two days, so I am hoping we are home free. There are 21 left. I think the larger blue chick is a bonus and maybe some kind of Giant, not sure. Very cute, though. The others are feisty and the black ones chase my finger and peck it. If that means they are tough and hardy, fine. I need the girls to be tough!

My Murry McMurry order also came the first week of March when nights were still below freezing, I ordered 55 and they threw in an extra Australorp and extra buff orp and maybe the same Mystery chick? So far I'm guessing it's s silver spangled hamburg. They arrived on a Sunday and the post office called me at 8am to come and pick them up. All 58 are still just fine.
