RE: [CHICKENS-101] Slaughter

 

            I’m sorry to hear that, Debbie.  My chicks are in the brooder in the garage.  The top is hooded closed, just in case those pesky cats try anything.  My Silkies are in their tractor and not going anywhere. 

 

            What do you think got them?  Poor babies.  Really sorry to hear it.

Its my turn.  In a previous message today, I told about my babies.  I got home to find 4of my 14 babies dead.  One or two were missing their heads.  No other chickens harmed and being the same size as my 2 banty hens, I thought they would have been safe.  I was wrong.  My 2 Faverolles, a  Delaware and a Turken dead.
