Hi Debbie,

For the FIRST time since we have added the five Guineas last year, I saw one jump on another and do the nasty! Until now, I didn’t know what we had………four girls and a boy?? Three girls and two boys??? Two girls and three boys??? You get the idea. Well, we have at least ONE MALE.

I will attempt to gather Guinea eggs in the next month or so and have one of the Silkies brood it.

If I get any keets, I’ll let you know!

In the meantime, one of my Silkies is inside with us. I am not sure what is wrong…..she would just sit. Not walk around. I don’t think she was eating or drinking, either. Brought her in and sat her on a towel with a bowl of water and some yummies……she has been eating and drinking. She responds when we talk to her. I don’t know what the issue is. She kind of jerks her head a little……almost like a tic. I think she is feeling better today …..she has had her pellets, scrambled eggs, banana, yogurt, cereal……….she seems happy. She is pooping, and it looks ok.

Any ideas?

Hi all -

……………………We do have one lone guinea, Badger, who everyone is now calling Uncle Fester because he acts like a cranky old uncle. I'm hoping to get a few guinea keets this spring, so if anyone in my area has them, let me know (Laura in Spotsy, perhaps?)
