I use worminator in the spring when my hens molt and stop laying because it gets all worms and takes protects for a month from internal and external parasites.
Ivermectim can be used the same but does not get rid of all worms/internal parasites and works for external for up to 28 days.

I have read through all of the old posts regarding Ivermectin and still have a question. If it is used topically, does it also rid chickens of parasites as it does for cattle? That would be a blessing! I really would like to do my worming/bug eradication now, before the weather warms up and most living parasites, both internal and external, are being kept alive by the warmth of the body. Most off the body, have been killed from our super cold winter. Also, having a flock of about 75....what should I vaccinate for ....everyone has different ideas so I would like some input on this subject too. Thanks so much, Kathy Tomlinson.
