I adopted a Sultan Rooster yesterday! He'd been in a fight or two with a gorgeous BIG Splash Cochin Rooster and is recovering. I don't know much about these birds, though I've been reading up. Anyone have them and want to let me know your experience?
He's sweet and is okay with me picking him up and holding him. He's little compared to my other roos - Ameracauna, Leghorn, Brahma. I've got him quarantined with an older hen for now and they seem to be getting along well. The previous owner had the most GORGEOUS Cochins - beautiful! My moulting flock looks very shabby in comparison. :)
