I was only sharing, you guys need to come up with how to kill them. Thank heavens that the only snakes I see around here are garter snakes! Not sure how much of a trap would be left after a shot gun blast! I know - put the minnow trap entry hole down into a bag you can seal, spray engine starter into the bag for a minute, then close up tightly. I'd be more likely to drown it, now way I would put my hands near it.
