Yes I did get them from MacMurray's. I didn't see that breed in the catalog when I ordered, but I might have had an old catalog. I should have checked on the web site for a more up-to-date listing of breeds. It was a lot darker as a chick than their photos show.
It is a really pretty little chick--I just hope it is a female. I guess in chicken jargon, I should sayI hope it's a pullet.
What do you call a male chick? A rooster?
Sadly, the frizzle bantam Cochin that has just loads of personality seems to be male.
