Tried out my chickie egg cups at lunch today, with my first attempt at a soft-boiled egg... The book in which I looked said to put the egg in cold water, bring to a boil, turn it off and let it sit 4 minutes (as opposed to 15 for hard-boiled). I guess it should be closer to 3 minutes (which someone mentioned earlier?) because it was not-quite-hard-boiled, couldn't have dipped strips of bread in the yolk (even if I'd finished baking the bread!) Still, it tasted wonderful--and so civilized...
I'll have to get a photo of the egg cups--cuter than I'd remembered!
