That's another thing I remember - Mums scones.... usually with raisins. Not like the cookie type scones we see here in the US of A. Hers were more like a hard biscuit, kinda bland - but we loved them. Oops, I just remembered that a cookie and a biscuit don't mean the same thing in England...
Now if we want to start talking about chicken feed - tell us what 'corn' is Jane.....
