Today in Anchorage, it is 19 degrees at 10:30 am. Looks like we received a little snow overnight. I don't see any chickens peaking through their window today at the next door coop. Their window has lots of moisture that seems to be trickling down the window. I am thinking he doesn't have very good ventilation. It must be smelly. A guy that took out our trees in the fall mentioned wintering is more difficult here.
It is a beautiful coop he built over the summer attached to their house. It is pretty nifty the window faces my kitchen window so I can see them when I am in the kitchen.

It's November 18th and the high is heading for 52. I love Indian summer and so do the chickens! No mosquitoes, no hot humidity, and the sun is shining.Cathryn rainbowsilkiesTM Michigan
