yeay! ... we had an over abundance of Roos in the batch of Americaunas I bought and in the batch of cross breeds that we hatched ourselves .... so we only got 3 new fresh "layers"
(technically 4 but the ONE americauna hen is STILL not laying at 9mo old)
So we found a lady about 1.5hrs away that breeds Cuckoo Marans, so we are getting 7 this weekend from her... 1 month old will start to lay in the spring ... OHHHH and they are ALL PULLETS! lol
that will be a nice addition to our flock.. .we pick them up friday.. .I am very excited!!!
