These girls keep me on my toes!!! So hubby was home all day so instead of getting let out when we get home from work, they got let out around 9am ( after the sun warmed things up a bit) ..
they were enjoying their day until about ... hmm 2pm hubby calls to tell me that 1/3 of the chicks were inside (unusual) and the others were huddled together chirping in mild distress...
hmm .. no predators that he had seen.. ( he was out and around the yard all day) so he picked them up and set them on the ramp and they all ran inside... and pretty much stayed there till I shut the door on them at 7:30 pm...
I was thinking about it and wonder if they arent so used to "x number" of hours outdoors that they just naturally wanted back in after that time? ... they didnt sleep inside and they werent cold... not sure what was up with that... (and it was warm and sunny, not overcast)
we shall see what they do tomorrow as they will get to be out all day again...
