Tonight I am going to give them the cantalope rind.. while they are still outside.. and once they are in their feeding frenzy I am going to pick it up.. give them the call for going in the coop and hopefully they will see me toss it inside and follow it... at least a few will hopefully others will follow..

It took repeated catching for us to get our youngsters inside too until they started following us inside to be fed. We had one group, our latest group, that didn't need caught. Not sure if they're just smarter or just watched the older chicks and learned.
