I have a roo that cackles every time a hen lays an egg.  When the hen gets off
the nest and starts to cackle, the roo will join in!    Susan

Di, Did you tell her bad, bad hen?  Sure hope she doesn't start this on a
regular basis.  You can interrupt her head hen status by taking her out of the
flock for a week or so.  Might stop the crowing. Cathryn
