[CHICKENS-101] After mating how soon do the eggs begin?

 

I saw my rooster mate one of my buff orphs yesterday. They are young birds about 4 months old so it seems like time. My question is once they start mating, how long do I have to get the nest boxes into my chicken coop? Three days?
