[CHICKENS-101] Re: Old rooster, new hens

 

Hi Rene, depends on how old is old. Be careful there. If you just want a few hens to keep him happy bantams will do fine. I would not suggest this for a young cockerel. On the other hand I wouldn't expect him to "get mean" in fact just the opposite. Looking for attention he might bring you goodies.
