The Roo was among my 2 biggest Roos; unfortunately a pair of smaller roos I'd recently added are meaner; & badder than him & the Barred-Rock are. Haven't found anyone who wants to buy him or the Barred, so I'm doing the deed, & re-homing them to a better place; my freezer, and/or cooker..... The Barred is still penned up I guess I'll fatten him up a little more before he meets the blade...
I raised the duck from a duckling, & the Barred-Rock from a chick; so there's some attachment; but such is life on a chicken farm....
