[CHICKENS-101] Funny chicken April Fool's joke

 

My co-worker keeps chickens as I do. He has 14 laying hens. He went
out to collect his eggs on April Fool's night. He found 33 eggs. He
almost called me to post a message to this list to ask if there was
some weird thing that would cause hens to lay 2 eggs a day. He went
to his refirgerator to see if the eggs he had already collected were
still there, and they were.

His wife, parents and daughter bought 2 dozen brown eggs at the
grocery store and put them around his coop.

He has a hen who is brooding about 11 peeps. Chicks on Easter Sunday
or the day after. I'll be buying a couple more pullets to add to my
flock in future!
