Well how sweet and cute, but aggrivating at the same time. Screaming chicks can be nerving. Have you tried a pulse device simular to the ones they use for human newborns? It mimics a heart beat. Maybe that will quiet them down and give you a break. Good luck.

Yesterday I brought in the chick that hatched in my hand, and the little serama I decided was too small to go out to the baby barn. A couple of times I checked on them, and all was going great. Today did the same; even picked them up to look them over. Checked their light, clean water, food, they have each other, and a bit of exact lovebird food. Well guess what? I have a 1 day old chick and a 4 week old serama chick that will not stop yelling for me to hold them! I am typing with one hand as both are sitting in my lap in one hand. They have yelled and screamed for hours... I know as soon as I put them down they are going to go back to screaming. :( Any ideas? It's 12:02 and they have yelled since 8-8:30pm.
