[CHICKENS-101] Novice Chicken mama

 

Thanks all for the advice. We ended up with Black Autralop,Buff orpington,White leghorn, (which seems to be a bully), and an ameraucana.
We have a shed that we figured we could transfer them to when they got a bit bigger. Am wondering if a coop with a heat lamp,and closed up would work too?
Our biggest obstacle right now is our Lab who is obsessed with them. She lays with her chin on the edge of the tote and watches them as if they might be a toy for her. So needless to say the door remains closed on that room unless we are in there with her. She hasn't tried anything, but not trusting her right now.
