Re: [CHICKENS-101] chickens are clever

I think you are wonderful!  I was trying to get a conversation going. Chickens101 was too quiet.

You have choices.  If you choose to eat chicken, then you have a choice of where to get it.  Either grow your own, or look for a good source, or take what's commercially available.  You can boycott commercial farming all by yourself, and promote that action to others if you choose.

Or you can do what I do.  Raise a small flock of my own, but buy one of those already cooked 5 dollar chickens for supper when I'm tired, or eat whatever is available when I'm away from home.

Does that help any?

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] chickens are clever

Can you find any  falsehoods and or stretched the truth or facts were used in a way  to push the anti eating meat can you pick out in this link/ article?
I am asking because it's important that I start reading articles with a dose of skepticism and have found myself complacent lately.  I am all for food animals raised in cleanliness, with good food,  clean water, with room to stretch or lay down, but how much is being pushed using misconceptions?
