I am going with the broody hen option. Not for everyone but I am planning on it. The breeds I chose are duel purpose, hardy in the cold, and most are listed as broody or sometimes broody. So I figure I will just stick the eggs under a broody hen and hope that works.

I bought Brinsea Mini Advance, packed and crowded it with four regular sized chicken eggs and six bantam eggs. A week later I ordered the Farm innovators Pro 4200 circulated fan incubator.I ordered both from Wayfair.com. I got them both with free shipping plus 10%off coupon code (when you sign up for a newsletter) and 2% cash back from Ebates.com and cash back from my credit card. Not bad for saving a little money for a hobby.Paid for Brinsea only $145 and the Farm Innovators $113.I hope this helps. =)What is beautiful is not always good. But what is good is always beautiful.
